Self-lube bearings
are widely used as a means of shaft
support and are available in a number of different styles to
suit the application.
The range of styles available is huge, some of which are shown
in the photographs on this page.
Self-lube is supplied as a complete unit of bearing insert with
housing, or just the bearing insert on it's own.
Although generally supplied with cast iron or pressed steel
housings, self lube is now used extensively in the food processing
industry with plastic
housings and stainless steel bearing inserts.
We are able to replace like for like or discuss customers' specific
requirements and show them examples in order to help them select
the right product for the job.
